MISSION
The Louisville Flyers provide a variety of opportunities for persons with intellectual disabilities to participate in sports. The Flyers also support the Mission of Special Olympics Kentucky.
"Our Mission is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a
variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities by
giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate
courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship
with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community."

January 28,2012 Eastern High School Cheer Challenge, the Flyers Cheer Squad will be competing.
February 4, 2012, St Mary's Tournament for the "B" and 2A Basketball teams in Louisville, KY TBA
February 9, 2012 the Flyers 2A Basketball team will play an intra-squad scrimmage at the IU Southeast vs. Cincinnati Christain University game during halftime. The game starts at 7pm and tickets will be $7 at the door. So come out and show your support for the Louisville Flyers 2A basketball team!

Did You Know...
Flyers Athlete Darrell Everette is a native of Panama City, Florida. Darrell is a student at Bellarmine University, and studied culinary arts at Sullivan University. He also works at Taco Bell.
